I have been to Amsterdam on many occassions before but always find an excuse to go back.  Two years ago my Eastern European backpacking trip started and finished here.  It is the ultimate chillout place and I love the fact that everybody gets around on bikes!  I went with my friend Sean and we stayed in the Stadsdoelen Hostel which is probably our favourite hostel - and we've stayed in a few!

This trip gave me the opportunity to see some of the things that I had not managed to get to before.  I had already seen the Van Gogh Museum, Dam Square, the 'Red Light' district (which is near the hostel) and ridden a bike around the city.  This time I visited the Anne Franck House, the Rijksmuseum and the Heineken Brewery.
