We got up at 06:00 in order to pack our bags.  It was going to take nearly two hours to make it to the airport so we checked out the hotel at 07:00.  This meant that we were too early to have breakfast at the hotel.  Never mind, we treated ourselves at the airport!

We spent a couple of hours watching people check in and out and boarded our flight when the time came.  It was surprising how many passengers we noticed from the outbound flight.

Before we knew it we had arrived in Liverpool Airport.  We jumped on the city centre shuttle bus and listened to a South African and a New Zealander chat about how much they liked it in Liverpool.

We arrived in Liverpool at 13:00 and met Claire’s sister, Anne, and a friend for lunch so we could tell them about our trip.
