When I'm not being boring on my PC
or planning my next trip abroad I'm usually found at
a football match somewhere. I regard myself as
a fan of football and not a football fan. I would
much rather see my team lose 5-0 and play well than
see them win 1-0 and play poorly. I do appreciate
that I'm in the minority with that approach though!
I follow the fortunes of four British
teams and travel many miles to see them:
- Liverpool are the first team
I ever saw and hold a special place in my heart
- Northwich Victoria are an attractive
side to watch with a friendly family atmosphere.
I am also the Treasurer of The Northwich Victoria
Supporters Trust
- Celtic are a team that have a
tremendous following of loyal fans who are a credit
to Scottish football
- Inverness Caledonian Thistle
have had an incredible rise to the Scottish Premier
League from their formation only ten years ago.
I can say that I was there right from the
start watching them when they were in Division Three
and have also appeared in their matchday programmes
on occassion.
A full write up from my matchday diaries
will appear here in due course along with a photo gallery.
