As the 2000-01 season rolled on it appeared that something special was in the offing. I'd been to the Worthington Cup Final between Liverpool and Birmingham City in Cardiff three months earlier which turned out to be a real roller coaster ride.  Nothing could prepare me for what I saw on the night of 16th May 2001 though!  I couldn't believe what was going on before my own eyes.  LIverpool won the final and the day as a whole must rank as being one of the best days in my life.
